Fruits Fly Up—Swipe Your Finger, This Little Cutting Board Comes Alive!
Fruit Slash is a native mini‑game on ESP-Mosaico. In the 480×480 circular touch screen, a wood‑grain cutting board is laid out, and pixelated fruits appear in succession: a swipe cuts them, juice splatters, and fruit stains remain on the tabletop.
What It Can Do
- Five fruits, slice to see the juice. Watermelon, orange, apple, lemon, and plum are thrown up from the bottom of the screen; after slicing, the two halves fly out, and a white blade flash follows your finger.
- One swipe can cut multiple fruits, earning combo points. Cutting 3 or more fruits with a single swipe triggers a combo, granting extra points equal to the combo count; for example, slicing 3 fruits adds 3 extra points.
- Higher scores test eye‑hand coordination more. Each wave brings more fruits, shorter intervals, and bombs appear more frequently.
- Fill energy, shake to unleash a shockwave. Slice all the fruits on the screen at once, and you can also remove bombs directly.
- Compete against your own record. The highest score is saved in the board’s storage and persists across power cycles.
How to Play
- On the title screen, swipe to cut the watermelon in the center to start the game.
- Swipe a finger across the flying fruits, timing it to cut multiple in one swipe.
- Watch the three life crosses below the score: you have 3 lives; each missed fruit costs one, and the corresponding cross turns red.
- Avoid the black bombs with a red cross! Hitting one triggers a full‑screen white flash and ends the round instantly.
- The game‑over screen shows the current score and the high score; slicing another watermelon restarts the game.
Shake‑to‑Shockwave
Each fruit sliced lights up one of the 12 blue energy points along the bottom edge of the screen. When all are filled, SHAKE IT flashes below the score.
Then give the device a firm shake; the blue aura expands: all fruits on the screen are sliced at once, adding 1 point each, bombs are removed directly, and SHOCKWAVE Xn is displayed. Slight tilting will not trigger it.
Sound and Vibration
Slicing fruit, bombs, missed fruit, combos, start, end, breaking a record, energy full, and shockwave each have their own sound effect, a total of 9 types, all synthesized by the script without any third‑party audio assets.
You can feel the rhythm in your hand: fruit slicing gives a light vibration, missed fruit or game over gives a stronger buzz, shockwave produces a double vibration, and bombs cause the strongest vibration.
